Elements of this render stink, but it's closer to what I had in my head when I started. I'm working with Carrara now, which is a new software tool with which I'm unfamiliar.
I figured that, if I'm able to get this story to start, it would begin with Chaz and Dora out for a quiet stroll when Chaz finds a wishing machine ala Tom Hanks in Big. And like in Big, Chaz unexpectedly gets his wish.
Now, as for whether it begins with Chaz waking up in the land of Excelsia or the boardwalk, I'm still thinking about it. I'd like to start it on the boardwalk so that we can get to know them.
However, I also don't want the story to drag like some fantasy based webcomics I've seen.
For the moment, they do make a cute couple. I'm glad Chaz looks sly and not creepy/dangerous. Like a mischief maker like Puck or, um... Puck.
And they both have no idea where Chaz's wish will take them...
