Heya hiya!

After talking with Mika and other artist folks around here, I've been trying to learn how to draw by hand better. I'm really grateful for folks like Sponson and Mika and others who've taken time to give me some helpful criticism when I frak up ;). It's been a lot of fun. I used to draw big breasts a lot back in college before I started doing 3D art, but I lost all of them and haven't really tried to draw again until a few months ago.

I know it can be a little frustrating for some folks who visit my site looking for only big breasts and muscles to see me dabbling in cute chibi pictures and cartoons, but these things interest me almost as much as giant growing breasts. Nevertheless, I'll try to keep the big breast factor a primary concern here in the lab of the Titaneer :D.

One weakness I have is that I tend to ramble about art I've made that I like. I know that it is bad form to do this, but there are times when I just can't help but feel proud of how something turned out. For instance, I think Magic Chalk is one of the best drawn pieces I've done in a while (although Liberty's Valentine remains my favorite Liberty image) . I did a lot of things I've been working on. I finally got the hands to look nice. I got her face to look decent from an angle other than straight on. And the breasts are generously big. If I had one complaint with my art, it's that I still haven't gotten the knack of drawing the breasts as they are actually growing. And one day my drawings will have legs too. I hope. :).

Alrighty, back to WoW and other things!

I got tagged by Mikazuki [link] and since I just woke up, I figured this would be the perfect time to do it!

1.WERE YOU NAMED AFTER ANYONE?
My dad, for my real name. My DA name, not so much. Just put Titan and Engineer together and it sounded mad scientist enough.

I'm going to guess three days ago.

3.DO YOU LIKE YOUR HANDWRITING?
If I were in kindergarten, yes.

4.WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE LUNCHMEAT?

5.DO YOU HAVE KIDS?
None that I know of ;).

6.IF YOU WERE ANOTHER PERSON WOULD YOU BE FRIENDS WITH YOU?
I suppose if I waited a while to get to know me. And if I was a lover of brawny women, I'd keep asking for free art until I learned how to draw :) hehe.

Only when I'm really mad. Which happens more often than I'd like.

Now I do. When I was a kid, I left them tied.

13.WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE ICE CREAM?
Cookie dough.

Rain. And chocolate.

24.WHO WAS THE LAST PERSON YOU TALKED TO ON THE PHONE?
Probably my dad.

25.WWBBD?

45.DO YOU HAVE A SPECIAL TALENT?
I think I do...

46.WELL, WHAT IS IT?
Being nice and self-sacrificing even when I should just stop and tell people what I really think.

I'm probably going to regret saying this, but I think I'm going to give the Poser comic idea another try. I'm kind of sad that I could never muster the creative know how to pull off Chaz and Dora, and I might still revisit them someday.

What idea might I pursue? I was thinking about making a short She-Beast comic. I'd like to explore her saga fully, but I have to say that I have no idea how long or how creative I could keep it up. I'm no Greg Pak, and he was smart enough to limit the gladiator scenes to four issues of his comic book, and then he concluded it by having the Hulk fight the Silver Surfer!

I got nothing on that lol.

So I'll give it my best shot and hope I make something memorable, if I get far enough to make the darn thing :).

The thing that strikes me most is this: Creation is Joy. An artist likes creating things because they bring him joy, and he in turn infuses the work with himself so that it comes alive. Otherwise, it's just recycled garbage.

TLink and Stacky are finally getting married!!!!! [link]

In celebration I made two bits of fan art for them, one of Stacky with a dash of BE and another just flat out Titaneered :).

May they continue to be one of the most joyful and funny BE artist couples on the net!

As for myself, I'm just truggin' along. Takes a lot for me to want to write or render these days, but I'm very happy when I manage to do it. Thanks a lot for all your faves and comments and views. I think I'd still do this even if nobody came to look, but it's good to know that I'm not working in a vacuum.

Happy holidays everyone! And may all your holiday wishes come true :).

Hey guys!

I'd like to apologize to anyone I might have offended recently either through not checking out the lovely new pieces you've submitted or by being an over-enthusiastic pain in the butt. Dwarfpriest's latest journal entry [link] got to me and I thought I hadn't been paying enough attention to the people around me and came off as a know-it-all, pompous and prideful son of a gun. I'm not fishing for people to tell me that it isn't true, just that it felt true to me.

There are a ton of 3D artists out there that are better than me, as well as some 2D ones that should get more attention. Next journal entry I'll give a shout out to some ones I like that other folks might like too.

Past the emo rant, I uploaded one of my winzipped animation tests that was finally small enough for DA to accept. I hope you all like it. I've never done it before and every test is a new learning experience.

Animation has been very humbling. Once you start trying to do it you have a whole new level of appreciation for people who do it and do it well.

Stay safe and have fun!

*Notes:
A lot of folks uploaded some of their first experiments this past week. Sponson uploaded his first animation to his website and Stone3D posted his first sequenced FMG comic. I think Sponson's got a few more tricks up his sleeve with his animation and I wonder what they'll be.

My brain is riddled and steamed through with sweat.

I just saw [link]

and it blew my mind. I wish I could what Leviathan did here. His video hit all the FMG notes I would like to have. I thought his morphs on the whole to be a sight to behold, although the hands and feet went crazy but when the model gets deformed that much, any resemblance to human anatomy is an achievement.

Good grief. Even if you're not a fan of uber huge FMG, check this out. The video's old and not without faults but it delivers.

...I think I'm going to go watch it again.

Holy crap! I need to get a Halloween render done by the end of today! I have just the idea, but it'll take some time to do.

Also, I've been working on some animation tests, and let me tell you; it's harder than you think. Like, it's hard, but then there's an extra layer of hard you didn't know about. I take my hat off to anyone who can do one and do it well.

Or it could just be that animation controls in Poser 6 stink and that's why I'm having so many difficulties.

Either way, Halloween render up by the end of the day, and I hope you all get lots of sugary treats tonight.

Just remember to share the ones you get from Titaneer's house... especially with lady friends... ;)

Also, thanks for all the faves on Nerdy Muscle Sisters. It's quickly becoming one of my most popular renders! I keep dreaming for the day when, no offense, Kitty's render is no longer my most popular. Not because I don't like it, but just because I think I've done better.

Double also, thanks to those of you who read my little interview piece. I'd still like to hear what you all have to say sometime, so feel free to comment on it and let me know.

This weekend was very productive. I got a few things out of the way I've been meaning to do, whiffed on a few other things, and created a new model that turned out unBElieveably well.

With very few exceptions, I make a busty muscle version of every model I make. Lydia I was intending to be the 'normal' girl in the Titaneer universe. She might think that FMG was cool but abstained from it usually because she likes wearing clothes.

So it was with great surprise when I saw how agreeable FMG looked like on her. She was a very pleasant surprise but I suppose now I'm back to the drawing board for a 'normal' girl to compliment the...

AHA!

Titaneer FMG systems do not work on girls younger than 18. It's a built-in safety precaution. I'll simply make a model of a girl that's 16 or 17 and never make a muscle model of her. She'll always be fully clothed. Stupendous!

Either way, Lydia was a most happy accident and I look forward to doing more with her in the future. Tina has some friendly competition from her little sister :D.

Interview will be up today or tomorrow. I look forward to writing it.

Hello everyone!

I'm kind of back, because I know that I have a tendency to start things and not quite finish them. My many attempts at exercise programs can attest to this.

Things have been busy at home, but I'm glad to see that I've finally gone back to rendering and I hope that I can remember how to do this.

Anywho, one idea I had was to write up a mock interview with myself. I plan to address a number of things, but if anyone here has any questions they would like to see answered, drop me a note here on DA or leave a comment for this journal.

Thank you very much for your warm welcomes back, and I hope I do not disappoint.

Updates!

10,000 view piece done. It's half of what I envisioned, although I really like how the lighting and camera angles turned out, as well as the wee statue.

Progress on some other things: Workin' on it! Other things include requests still on the table as well as models of Billie Piper and Alyson Hannigan. Both tied for my next celebrity model poll on amaz0ns.

I'd also like to get Chaz and Dora started, but that's something I may just have to sit down tonight and just plow through it and pray that the end result looks fantastic.

Pet Peeves: Daz 3D. Even though I shouldn't complain about getting Carrara 6 Pro for free since I bought Carrara 5 during the crazy sale period they had going on, DAZ3D still shipped Carrara 6 without including Transposer 2!

What this means:

I use Poser 5 to pose all of my model before importing them into Carrara. In order to facilitate this, I use a plugin that came included with Carrara 5 called Transposer. However, the latest version of Carrara did not come with this nifty tool which has a fifty dollar price tag.

Once again, I shouldn't complain about receiving a 150 dollar upgrade for free, but the lack of a key piece of software irks me.

At least the 10,000 views picture turned out pretty good.

Wow, I have a lot of stuff to do.

In addition to some sideprojects for people here on DA, I also have the winners of my latest poll over at amaz0ns to worry about. Yes, I did say winners. When one has a tie, this will happen :D.

It's a lot of stuff and while I like having a lot to do, it's still a tad overwhelming. Nevertheless, I'll try to finish it all in a timely fashion and not have it stink.

To everyone who's faved my pictures and put me on your watch lists... thanks :). I do appreciate it a lot. And another big thanks to the people who comment on my stuff. It goes to show that I'm not working in a void.

Until then, take care of yourself!

I now have an undercover DA identity for when I venture out of the FMG/BE ghetto. I feel kind of bad for needing it, but I'm doing it to protect my art and the community at large.

Also, I'm very glad for how much you guys liked One Shot More. Even I'm amazed at how well it all turned out. It's easily my favorite collection of renders ever. I tried very hard to duplicate Readyart's style but in Poser/Carrara, and I'm happy to say that I think I did it.

Also, I would love to submit Doc 3 to be able to be prints, but I've heard of pictures being banned for less, so I'd like for it to remain here as long as possible for your viewing pleasure.

I hope to get my own website up and running. With any luck, you guys can find it easily enough for all sorts of fun times =).

I've really enjoyed working on the "One More Shot" series as I like to call it.

It started out as an attempt to capture StMercy2020's words in 3D, and I thought I did a pretty decent job with that. Then my eyes and imagination strayed to the lovely Doctor Bobbie Maxwell (as played by my Audrey Hepburn model) and I thought I would try to do something even more difficult.

So here I am trying to photoshop many different layers of clothing on one picture to make it look as if Dr. Maxwell has come down with the Amazonia virus. I really liked the first low key ripping scene I did with her and I've liked its progression.

I'm now on the third part of her hulking out, One More Shot: The Doctor 3, whereby she finally sits down and just loses it.

I hope I'm not building up people's expectations about it. The One More Shot series seems to be my most popular of all the renders I've done so far. I'm hoping to have it done by tonight (August 20th), and I hope it'll be something really special.

Until then, have fun and stay safe!

Yes, Jessica Biel's friend is none other than Natalie Portman. I did my best on both of these models and, while they're not spot on, I thought I did a fair enough job with them both. I was pleased with how this whole sequence turned out, although I still have more shots to do. Note how Natalie isn't totally transformed yet...

Either way, I'll wait a short span before posting the rest of the pictures. For now, I just hope that your curiosity is piqued!

And there you have it, folks! Jessica Biel getting a reimagining by yours truly. I had fun making her face, especially since I was told that a model of her with the morphs I have is hard to do. It was, but I'm rather pleased with the results. Sadly, none of the hairstyles I have seem to look good on her. She has a partial widow's peak, and all of my hairstyles seem to be of the non-widow's peak variety.

Oh well, at least she's ready to play the part of Jennifer Walters now if I ever wrote a She-Hulk movie :D. ALthough I'd rather have someone classier like Audrey Hepburn or Cate Blanchett as the titular lawyer. You know, someone who can act.

(On a quiet side note, frak you Nicholas Cage for pretending to back a She-Hulk movie. Frak you!)

As I hint at in the comments section of my Biel renders, Jessica's friend (whoever she may be) is also going to take a dip in the ancient pool of the amazons. Who she is I won't say, but nevertheless I look forward to seeing if I can recreate her too. I know that there are already some dynamite models out there of my next intended celeb, but that shouldn't stop me from making my own.

I hope you enjoyed the first bit of my little Jessical Biel/Mystery Girl femuscle story. It was a fun early morning diversion and I hope you all liked it. Stay tuned for more amazing ladies later!

Okay, I'm still reeling from Carrara not being helpful. However, I still have many ideas and I still have many things to work on.

Like the winner of the celebrity model poll and the 3000 hits picture, all I will get to. Just between work and my lack of speed things get done way too slow for my tastes.

That being said, I just finished work on a model tonight that I think was a good precursor to doing the celeb poll winner.

Cross your fingers, hopefully I'll have a render up by this weekend...

I've hit a few snags in all of my projects because Carrara doesn't do something that I need it to do despite the fact that it renders better than Poser.

It's all technical gobbledygook, but it's all delaying what I wanted to do today. I had the scene all set up, went to do a render of my model sans clothing (which is part of how I get the rippage done in photoshop), but Carrara imports models one and all. That is, her clothes, being props, are welded to my model's body as one whole piece.

I was thinking transparency shaders might make the clothes disappear, but the shader tree in Carrara remains impenetrable as always.

I have an idea for a workaround, but it's tricky and I don't know if it'll even work. Here goes something, eventually.
