Heya, gang;

I'm taking a short sabbatical from DA. I have a lot of commissions on my plate that I'm trying to work on and need to focus on them.

Have fun and stay safe!

For people who have commissioned me, I apologize for not having new things to you lately; I've hit a wall where I haven't been able to draw well. That being said, I'm going to try a new drawing schedule and see if that will help me get art out for you all to enjoy.

HEADS UP!

I am not closing up shop here but I opened up a place on tumblr, and I can't link to it directly in case I start posting more adult arts on it.

It's pretty easy to find though; search Tumblr for Titaneer and you should find me pretty fast :).

There is an uncensored version of Susie Storm Hulked on there >.>

Heya, heya!

February is here and at least in my state the weather can't decide if it's Spring or still Winter. Very Jekyll and Hyde, but hopefully the warm Jekyll days are offsetting the really friggin' cold Hyde ones on my heating bill.

Thanks to everyone who faved a picture I drew, gave me a comment, or even stopped by to see what I was doing. And also thanks to everyone who picked up a copy of "Growth Error". It really means a lot as right now I'm trying to do the impossible and make a decent living off of my drawings, which is harder than it looks if you're not a well established artist with a huge fanbase. Also, I am honestly not the best female muscle artist out there, but that's alright. Not fishing for compliments, I know that there are plenty of talented artists out there that can do better work. I'm still going to keep working at it to get better though!

Upcoming works: I've only got one thing in the pipeline right now, a werewolf comic that clocks in at 12 pages. The layouts are finished, so I still have to put down the lines and the colors. It will star Jane Austen, and should have some nice TF fun. I'm also still open for commissions and custom artwork. Details below!

Have fun and stay safe and warm!

COMMISSIONS:

Single images: B&W: $10.00 per character
                   Color: $15.00 per character

Sequences: B&W: $10.00 per step
                Color: $15.00 per step

1. I will draw whatever you like, see the prices above. You can note me either here on DA or to my email address at titaneer@gmail.com. Be sure to include the email address you'd like for me to send your art to. Don't send money first without noting me because I don't want anyone's order to get lost in the shuffle. Please be as descriptive as possible when describing what you would like to see and provide references if you have specific poses in mind or if you have an OC you want me to draw for you. I will ask questions to help guide the process along so we can both be on the same page before I start drawing :). If you have a comic you would like me to draw, a script is not necessary but please feel free to write one if you are inclined :D.

2. After I have approved of your commission offer and we've hammered out the details, send half the money via paypal to titaneer@gmail.com and I will get started as fast as I can. I apologize for customers who can't use paypal but it's the only way I can accept money for the time being.

3. I will will send updates at every step of the process, from roughs to finished lines to colors to shading and final product. At each step I will do my best to meet your needs. If something is wrong, please let me know so I can change it to make it more like you have envisioned. Nobody likes commission grief and I want you to have the most guilt-free commission experience!

4. For the last part, I will send you a water marked image of the final lines. If everything is alright, then you can send me the other half of the payment and I will email you a watermark-less copy of your art. The final watermark-less copy will be in .jpg format, delivered to your email address. All of my art is digital; there are no physical copies. I will ask if it's okay to post the art in my gallery, but other than that it is yours.

*Note, I reserve the right to to not take a commission idea due to subject matter or because I do not think I could give you your money's worth. That said, please be as complete and succinct in describing your commission as possible.*

I'm very excited!

First off, my new FMG comic Growth Error is ready for purchase from the Titaneer Studios Store. There were some hiccups getting everything packaged up and put on the internet, but I hope the wait was worth it. The comic's final price is $4.00, and as an added bonus I've added a .pdf of Trash Day, a short free comic I drew to celebrate Growth Error's release. You can check out Trash Day here in my gallery.

This has been a rewarding/frustrating/MADDENING set of weeks. Two weeks ago I decided to dedicate myself to seriously creating art every day and to that end I've finished off my commissions from last year and been able to generate two new comics for you all to enjoy. While you will see more comics for sale from me, I will still upload free content and art here for you all to enjoy.

Lastly, with the release of both of these comics, I am officially opening up commissions again!

So!

I'm going to do everything I can to draw as much as I can for 2013. One thing I am going to try to do is create a lot more comics. Some I will post for free, others will be paid offerings from my store. The first comic will be one I'd like to call "Growth Error"

Growth Error started out as a comic called "Tech Girl Support", but that name didn't sound FMG-y enough so I changed it. It's about a girl who is a customer support technician at an MMO, and, after contracting a nasty email virus, starts growing massive. She won't reach the same size as the nameless cat lady in Grow Moar, but I think people will like it. This will also be the first comic I've done in a while with dialogue, which I'm looking forward to because I was a writer before I tried to start drawing.

Feel free to ask me any questions about it either here or on the sample page I currently have up for Growth Error . I look forward to hearing from you!

*coughs*

So, I'm going to do my best to keep this tone light but there really is no way around it. I hate being a sucker and having people take advantage of me. I probably should have learned this lesson a long time ago but it happens.

Without going into specifics, I loaned out money to someone who did not pay me back when he said he would nor did he tell me he would be unable to. Needless to say, since this is not the first time he's done something like this to me, I'm finally going to write him off.

Second, someone didn't pay me for work completed on a commission. Needless to say, this has damaged that working relationship and I am going to take steps if this is not resolved. Normally I take half up front and half on completion but delayed payment due to a pretty nasty bout of art block and didn't want to be sitting on anyone's money.

Well that whole keeping things light didn't go over well. Ah well, I tried and I got it out there. This was also the reason I stopped taking requests as well; I tried to put a lot of time into request pieces only to be treated like an art vending machine.

*EDIT*

After running some errands I came home to discover I received payment for the commission. I'm happy that at least this business has been resolved. Now if the fellow who took my chainsaw would give it back as well as the $40.00 he owes me... today would be perfect lol.

A quick shoutout to :iconfullmoonmaster:, whose latest payset he's selling from him and :iconarania: is on sale now. It's a double feature werewolf tf comic of two of his favorite ladies, in color, and he's selling it now for $9.00. Worth a good look if you like werewolf tf's :D!

Some people might hate to see these words, but I have been trying all day to work on the commissions I have now and it is not fair to anyone to have to wait on me. I am going to finish the commissions I have now and then taking a break.

It's not the best way to start 2013 but I have to face facts. I've been unemployed for almost two years now and right now I just can't write and draw my way to a decent paycheck every month like I thought I could. And I've touched on how hard it is to draw right now in previous journals and it hasn't gotten any better.

I'd much rather work at a bad job than take people's money for commissions I still haven't finished yet and am struggling to finish in the first place.

I prefer not doing journals like this, (don't worry, not self-hatin' here, just relating where I've been) but I've had a hard time drawing lately.

Drawing and writing are two of the things I'd like to think I'm passionate about but lately it's like I've got nothing in the tank. I've been struggling to draw for my commission clients (and not a day goes by where I don't think about it), but it's like I can't get anything to get drawn right. Then I take a look at some of the stuff I've done in the past and go, "Graaaaaah! That was so cool! Why can't I do more like this!?"

So, in short, I'm NOT retiring, not hanging up my gloves or the keys to the lab, but I am trying my darnedest to draw. This is a hobby of mine and I'd rather be productive and good at it than to let it go by the wayside. I'd like this to be something I could do every day to help make people's days go a little easier. Sure, it's more or less glorified naughty pictures, but I personally think the world could use a good bit of them every now and then.

I know money is tight right now for a lot of folks, but in case you want me to draw something for you I am opening commissions. I will have five slots open at first. This is how it works:

1.I will draw whatever you like, $10.00 per character. If you want them in color, it is an extra $5.00 dollars per character. Note me here on DA first. If the drawing is of a more sexual nature, that will cost extra. Be sure to include the email address you'd like for me to send your art to. Don't send money first without noting me because I don't want anyone's order to get lost in the shuffle.

2.Send half the money via paypal to titaneer@gmail.com and I will try to get started as fast as I can. I apologize for customers who can't use paypal but it's the only way I can accept money for the time being.

3. If you want it in color, I will send you a low resolution picture of the black and white lineart before applying color in case there is anything you want me to change.

4. I'll send you a final copy for final approval, and if everything is alright then send the other half of the payment and our business is concluded. Final copy will be in .jpg format, delivered to your email address. All of my art is digital; there are no physical copies.

*Note, I reserve the right to to not take a commission idea due to subject matter or because I do not think I could give you your money's worth. That said, please be as complete and succinct in describing your commission as possible.*

FAQS:

Q: How much do commissions run usually?

That depends on what you want. I give price quotes individually based on a pretty flat system of the number of characters in a drawing as well as overall complexity and coloring as well as whether or not the drawing is sexual in nature. That said, I try to keep a fair price for people :).

Q: How fast do you work?

Depending on the work and what's going on in my life, I can work pretty fast. If unexpected mishaps happen, I will let you know via email about where I am at with your commission.

Q: Do you think you would like to work on a...

I'll be frank. When I am working on a commission, I want it to be a piece of art that you will enjoy forever and a day and that it is everything that you wanted. Nothing is more vexing than commissioner's guilt where you commission a piece of art and, after waiting and waiting, it is nothing like what you wanted. I may not be the best but I will try to give you my best if you commission a piece of custom artwork from me. It is YOUR idea; I'm just a guy trying to make it happen. In short, be succinct and specific with your commission ideas instead of being really broad and vague (unless that is what you are going for). I want you to be happy when you receive your new art.

Q: I didn't know if you'd be up for it but I'll ask... would you do (insert fetish genre here)?

I would say don't be afraid to ask! The worst I can do is say no. But please bear this in mind. Women, female muscle and anything with big breasts are my fave subject matters, and anything that falls outside of that I probably won't be very good at. I can try but I cannot guarantee results. The only subjects I will never do are under age characters, vore, scat, and herms.

Hit me up with a note here or on my page over at Furaffinity if you want a commission and I'll let you know once I review your idea :).

Just learned that legendary comic book artist Joe Kubert has passed away. He's perhaps most well known as the co-creator of Sgt. Rock as well as an amazing body of artwork over the span of decades as well as founder of the Kubert School for sequential art.

Godspeed, Mr. Kubert.

After launching my store a few days ago, I have been very excited by the response. It is nice to see people taking a chance on even some of my older stuff, even though the quality has gotten better since (at least I think so).

I would like to add more to diversify it, but I'd like to be careful to avoid burnout. Art should be fun! And I'd like to hope that when someone buys a comic from me that they are getting something I put a lot of time into and is worth their cash. I've seen similar sentiments echoes from other comic creators, and I think it's a good maxim for artists to strive to give their fans the best that they want.

I'd like to thank everyone who chipped in a few bucks to pick up a comic or two of mine. Your kindness is truly appreciated.
